Pooler Fire Department Responds to Trailer Fire on Dean Forest Road

Savannah, GA, October 17, 2026 —

The Pooler Fire Department responded to a fire at a single-family trailer on Dean Forest Road Saturday night. The fire began in the kitchenette and spread, according to the available information. No injuries were reported.

The response was significant because the area lacked fire hydrants. The account does not specify how crews obtained or transported water, how many personnel or vehicles responded, or how long the response lasted. It also does not describe how far the fire spread or the extent of damage to the trailer.

Several other details were not provided, including the calendar date, the exact time of the call, whether anyone was inside the trailer, and whether anyone was displaced. The cause of the fire and whether investigators examined it are also unknown based on the information available. No statements from fire officials or residents were included.

The reported facts establish that the fire started in the kitchenette, spread, and prompted a substantial response in an area without hydrants. They do not establish what caused the fire, what firefighting methods were used, or what happened after crews responded. Those details remain unreported in the information provided.
